Nektar is a fragrance with a distinctive character that exudes the intense notes of honey, without becoming overpowering. "The first inspiration for this fragrance was a beautiful trip to Wadi Darbat, in the southern part of Oman. It is a unique place in the Middle East because all the monsoons that come from India end up here. Instead of being dry like a desert as one would expect, the area is verdant and very diverse from a botanical point of view: large rivers, large trees and a special treasure that belongs to this region: the Sidr Tree. The Sidr Tree has nothing in common with the cedar tree. It is an ancient tree from the Ziziphus family, which produces beautiful red fruits and amazing flowers. Thanks to these flowers, the local bees produce the richest, most exclusive, characteristic honey you can ever imagine! It is extremely well known under the name Yemen Sidr Honey. I had the opportunity to spend a few days there with a botanist and a "meter of incense" and I returned from this trip full of inspiration.
